Harmadik ízben jutalmazták a televíziós újságírók által legjobbnak vélt sorozatokat, műsorokat és színészeket ezen a díjátadón. A jelölteket és a nyerteseket látva sokszor felmerül bennem a kérdés, hogy mennyire befolyásolja a döntéseket, az ilyen szervezetek, szövetségek esetében a hype, vagy az adott műsor nézettsége. A nyertesek között vannak olyanok, akikkel nem értek egyet, sőt, a jelöltek között is vannak olyanok, aminél nem értem a népszerűséget.
Elég sok kategóriában díjaztak, s sok sorozat szerzett szinte minden kategóriában jelölést. Ez is érdekes, hogy a népszerű sorozatoknál mindenki jó, míg egy annyira nem közszájon forgó, de amúgy jó sorozat szinte alig kap említést. A díjátadók nekem ezért nem annyira mérvadók, főleg ha szinte ugyanazokat a nyerteseket hozza ki mindegyik ilyen gála.
